Stupid life. I see that my "the government should pay us to stay home and hang on the internet" proposal isn't making any headway in Ontario, either.
Do you think that if Kirby were allowed to stay home and do what he liked, he would have taken on _Jimmy Olsen_? I mean, of all that was wrong with the DC Silver Age, _Jimmy Olsen_ and _Lois Lane_ have to be near the top of the list.
And then after 140 issues of wasted pulp and effort, insignificant in any possible sense (except for Chris Sims to make fun of), it suddenly turns into just about everything that the serial superhero comic artform could possibly be.
And then, what, eight issues later, cancelled.
