Fourth World (Belated) Fridays--The Forever People #9

If I have a bit of time, I'll put up a special bonus comic review, unrelated to the Fourth World, but linked to a certain blockbuster movie currently in theaters (and probably not the one you're thinking of).

Science falling down on the job? not so much. Every university faculty I've ever seen has at least one member who only comes to his office so that he can try to summon a tentacled monstrosity from beyond the veil.
Summoning it in your office guarantees that it will eat your colleagues.
Or your graduate students.
The point is, if you're going to all that trouble to learn "secrets men were not meant to know," why waste it on something as pointless as treating cancer when a livid green, rippling tentacle could be dragging that bastard Higgs into a razor-toothed maw? Show him what an evil and uncaring universe thinks of his "anonymous" critique of your last grant proposal.
